Dirty South has had a brilliant year in 2008. His tunes have topped the club charts here in Australia, and they’re regularly played by some of the biggest DJs in the business. He’s also appeared at some of Europe’s top festivals, and to top it all off had a two hour slot to show off his talents on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in May. Every tune he puts out at the moment seems to be quality. The remixes on offer here only enhace it further!

There are two on this package that stand out. The Chocolate Puma Dub is a real tough, hard mix, and once it starts you know you are in for a great time. It has a real party vibe, plus it has that standout bassline from the original that keeps pounding away. The Axwell mix is also top quality, a typical Axwell production as it’s very smooth. It’s got little bleeps and a good strong bassline. You can tell Dirty South and Axwell have a lot in common, as they also work together well on the new track ‘Open Your Heart’.
