This melting pot of high energy breaks, tech and electro is definitely one that gets your attention. Not only is it well mixed with a fantastic selection of tracks, it hits you like an instant dose of adrenalin! Lee Combs has taken some of the most inspiring, hi octane dacne offerings and put them together into one of the most well structured, catchy compilations I have heard for a while. Your attention never wavers and it is nothing short of pure class!

it’s a mix that flows perfectly, taking the right spikes up in tempo combined with bringing the listener back down to earth when needed. What Lee Combs does right from the outset is to go for the throat, grab the audience and shake the life out of them. A slow intro kicks right into the raw, powerful infused track Duo Drive, produced by Lee Combs himself in conjunction with DJ Icey. A great piece of music to start which is sharp and snappy.
Lee Combs doesn’t take his foot off the gas from here as yet, maintains the fast tempo and even throws in some darker ingredients with that likes of Crying Hero which has a haunting, droning male vocal that clinches it. Add peak time track Come Closer to this and you almost want to start dancing around your house. It’s seriously that up beat and appealing!

Now we are at the point where Lee doesn’t want to red line us for too long and drops us back a gear at the right time. Daddio by 30Hz adds an interesting twist with some soulful, jazzy, mo town like vocals laced with strong bass before getting quite minimal on Zum Goldenen Handschuh. Galia Melon keeps the cruise control on before using a slow drum roll build up on the first breakdown, teasing us back into the party vibe.
From here we get back to high energy, feet stomping tunes with God is Green, I Want To Rock With You and even getting a little industrial with Engine. This is gold this one, giving you goose pumps and tingles down your spine. Awesome to hear the 303 samples here as well – seems it’s making quite a bit of a come back across various genres of late.

You can always tell when an DJ.producer has put a lot of time into a mix. The quality of track selection on this mix is second to none with Lee Combs taking the listener down in the right places before bringing them back up at the perfect points. A real journey of some of the best breaks and tech-funk going around and this will be chugged down by those with a craving for some awesome Lee Coombs sounds. Fantastic!
