I thought Deadmau5 was the be-all and end-all electro house maestro. Sorry mate, Wolfgang Gartner aka Joey Youngman has proved that you have to fight for the crown, even though essentially you’ve kinda lost it by dabbling in other genres.

The latest single from the man of the moment in electro is Flashback.

Just the single track is served today, with a bouncy slice of thumping electro. A repeated chorus dominates this fantastic chunk of house, along with a zippy little build that crashes out into a boiling kettle lead synth that will (I’m sure) be tearing dancefloors to absolute shreds.

There’s one problem: It’s only one track! More please Mr. Gartner!
