Rektchordz debut on U&A earlier this year saw him throw out a killer breaks package with the likes of Lee Mortimer and Elite Force on the remix duties delivering a much needed slice of breaks to us all. However, the man has decided to switch it up a little, delivering These Girls; a package that suits electro wonkers perfectly.

The original mix is a heavy jumpy number with glitches galore, throwing in some badass vocals and some fantastic peaks and massive bass. Peppered, powerful electro synths make their way around the track. Mid, the track is stripped of everything before bringing back a huge build to ensure the place is utterly destroyed.

Meat Katie delivers another heavy remix, which similar to the original, it’s got a really driving personality to it, a deep grumbly bassline. Dropping, subtle electro sweeps, and some synthy ins and outs. Another huge mid track build before smashing it out. Master of the wonk, Calvertron returns to U&A with a remix that’s got a killer breakdown into glitched vocals and a massive crunchy wonked up electro lead. The wicked breakdown returns with more glitches and then sludge heavy bass galore. Our little breakdown returns with an added side of sludgy bass and proceeding to tear the place down with the crunchy outro.

The closing track Popomatic is a bit different for the package. It’s a slower, funky little breaks number. A really bouncy kick ass lead synth. Glitches are still included in this one. With some wicked electro sweeps, keeping a horror type feel after you hear the sweet little horror synth builds.

Overall, Rektchordz makes another fantastic return to the scene, displaying his fine pallet for crafting clean cut, but mighty heavy and dirty electro and breaks and with the added support of Meat Katie and Calvertron, it makes this package an absolute must.
