You know when you’ve got a hit on your hands when your track is the talk of the Miami Winter Music Conference, everyone is plugging it from Pete Tong to Derrick Carter.

‘At Night’ is the first single from their debut album ‘You think you know’ due for release here soon from Swiss brothers in crime who form Shakedown. In its original form its catchy, with a hook that just won’t get out of your head for days, couple this with the infectious 80’s syth-pop tinged beats and you have a track which devastates dance floors.

The real joy is in the remixes provided, my favourite being the slightly harder edged, techier version from Italian remixer dejour Mousse T who twists it up and takes it into dirty, dark territory that made this reviewer drool.

Kid Crème lends his weight to a mix which won’t disappoint, slapping on a sext spoken word, plenty of filtered sounds and a rollicking bass line.

The only stinker on this otherwise sterling effort is from one half of the duo who brought us ‘Intro’ Alan Braxe. His remix (which sounds nothing like the original and almost loses the vocal altogether) is a little too hard and fast.

Not to worry, the original and the other two remixes make this one of the hottest releases of the year.
