(Kosmo Recordings)

Side A (Klubmix)
With a definite disco flavour the lead up moves into a completely different housie sound with the synthesiser taking on Daft Punk characteristics. This is merely the beginning of one electrifying track. The style is very all over the place but held together somehow, with every sound being flawless and vital to the overall resonance. It advances steadily with the clincher being some of the most fantastic female vocals combined with fat bass rolls and tight samples coming through in a helter-skelter yet beckoning way. The procession slows down towards the middle of the track with the backing sound of soft rain and some elated beats, which in turn aids in giving atmosphere and justice to the title “Lonliness”.

Although it has an interesting Michael Jackson edge, the pumping baseline and charged chaotic sound kills any doubt of it being another commercial cop-out. This fusion of deep house with break beat undertones soon overpowered anyone’s senses, becoming one for the instant play list.

Side B (Mucmix)
This follows the same prominence set by Side A, but has a heavier break beat influence and a stylish electronic bass guitar coming through giving it a funky groove. It again has the synth that is Daft Punk renown, but is more slowly paced and mellow compared to the first track. He has changed the sequence in which this side runs and also placed a new rhythmic piano piece in the middle, being a very tasty addition. The bass tends not to be consistent and the lead ups and breakdowns again set it apart from most of the tracks out today.

Unique to the last beat, both these tracks are likely to get you moving. One for all the dancing girls and crankin’ boys, especially if you like your vocal fix.
