Andy Caldwell feat. Omega Brooks - Don't Hold Back

Andy Caldwell has recently released a new track on the inspiritmusic label, Don’t Hold Back, featuring Blackalicious vocalist Omega Brooks. Caldwell has been producing quality house on a deeper tip since 1994. His previous releases have been on the Om Records label.

Don’t Hold Back is a pretty funky track with very dreamy vocals and includes two mixes, Original and Beach House edit. The Original mix is more upbeat, vocal house mix that will have you bopping your head along too. The bass line is excellent and a very groovy guitar is heard throughout.

The Beach House edit is a laid-back breakbeat mix which works well with the vocals. However, it lacks the driving beat of the Original mix and feels a bit sleepy in parts.
