Dynamix and D Ramirez hit the Discotek

Ministry of Sound is launching a new compilation series Discotek that will explore the darker side of underground house music, featuring selections from Trentemøller, Moguai, Dubfire and Mark Knight among others. To celebrate, international production powerhouse D Ramirez will be taking it to the nation alongside one of Australia’s favourite DJs Mark Dynamix.
You’ll most likely know of D Ramirez because of his take on Bodyrox’s Yeah Yeah, which was easily one of the biggest club smashes from last year. But his career as a producer and a DJ actually stretches back for well over a decade and he’s explored nearly every permeation of house music you could care to list.
Mark Dynamix on the other hand has explored nearly every genre of dance music you could care to mention in his veteran career as a Sydney DJ. He’s mixed a huge amount of CDs for Ministry of Sound in the past but Discotek gave him the opportunity to explore his more underground leanings that he’s featured in his club sets as of late.
