Koolism frontman takes the wheel at Triple J hip hop show

With long-serving host Maya Jupiter departing to the US to focus on her solo career, there’ll be a new name stepping in to take control of Triple J’s Hip Hop Show. None other than Hau Latukefu from veteran Australian hip hop act Koolism. And you can’t really get any more credible than that; Koolism has been one of the true pioneers of shaping a distinctive Australian sound, building up a loyal following during their 15-year career and picking up the first ever ARIA Award for ‘Best Urban Release’ in 2004.
Catch the new voice of Triple J’s Hip Hop Show every Monday night from 10pm to 1am, kicking off from next week.
