Mr C brings The End to Australia
Sun 28th Sep, 2008 Newsin
Considered by many to be one of dance music’s most iconic characters, Richard West – aka Mr C – has proven he’s an international DJ able to stay on the cutting edge. Before Underworld, The Prodigy or the Chemical Brothers, the name Mr C was heralded as one of the founding forces of electronic music, making his claim to fame as frontman of acid house outfit Shamen.
Since then he’s been one of the key influences on the club scene, founding End Recordings and Superfreq. He also had a part in launching London clubbing institution The End Club, alongside Layo Paskin (of Layo & Bushwacka! fame). He’s coming to Australia in October, to bring a taste of The End down under.
Catch Mr C at these dates:
Fri 17th Oct – Platinum, Gold Coast
Sat 18th Oct – Chinese Laundry, Sydney
Sun 19th Oct – Habitat, Perth
Fri 24th Oct – Sunny 11th Birthday, Melbourne
Sat 25th Oct – TBA, Secret Event
Sun 26th Oct – Sunday Roast, Brisbane
