Jacques Renault getting disco across Australia
Mon 4th May, 2009 in News 1432 views
When Jacques Renault visits Australia for the first time during May, he’ll already be one of New York’s most respected DJs. Recently picking up the accolade of the city’s ‘Best DJ’ by Paper Magazine, his profile is in no small part due to his role in the world renowned DFA Records. He’s also one part of the production outfit Runaway, responsible for the ’08 hit Brooklyn Club Jam, and more recently he’s been responsible for remixing LCD Soundsystem, Chairlift, Moby and more.
Jacques will be playing several disco-soaked dates across the country this May, including a set at the new series of parties in Sydney known as Discoasis, a collaboration between Future Classic and Fuzzy that’s seen them join forces to showcase the finest that’s out there in disco. Todd Terje kicked things off last month, and Jacques Renault will be keeping the disco ball rolling.
Jacques Renault tour dates:
8th May – Sorry Grandma w/ Trusme, Melbourne
9th May – Limbo, Adelaide
15th May – Empire w/ Diskjokke, Brisbane
16th May – Discoasis at Civic Underground, Sydney
