Polish dance festival in a monastery = awesome

Sometimes we can’t help but be a little envious of international clubbers. Sure we get Masterchef down here but they seem to get some monumentally impressive festivals! And now the unveiling of ElectroCity V in Poland of all places has us reeling even more for its festival wow-factor.
Set to kick off on August 14th, the ElectroCity festival will take over the Cysterian Monastery in Lubiaz, with 15,000 dance fans flocking inside the holy walls to catch a pretty stellar cast of international DJs tear the place up. Who would’ve thought that Polish monks knew how to throw such a big party?
On the list for the festival’s fifth year includes heavy-hitting DJs from a full spectrum of genres including Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Todd Terry, Dubfire, Umek, Eddie Halliwell, Showtek, Zany, Doorly and Sander Van Doorn going back to back with Marco V. Damn skippy!
What’s really selling ElectroCity for us though is that the tickets are literally dirt cheap. For a 2-day pass, punters will fork out a measly 60 Zlotych, which translates to around $20 Australian dollars apparently. Unbelievable.
Check out the full lineup below and start counting those Zlotychs!
