Trentemøller headlines Peats Ridge Festival

If you’re keen to escape the city rabble this New Years Eve, Peats Ridge Festival may just be the ticket. Boasting three days of music in the idyllic surrounds of Glenworth Valley, this year’s line-up is a treat for electronic music lovers.
Heading up the bill is none other than Danish impresario Trentemøller, who’ll be appearing with full live band and playing tunes from his buzzed about new disc, Into The Great Wide Yonder, which you can grab a free download off of right now on ITM. The man’s last live tour was nothing short of incredible, and we can think of few better settings to soak it up than Peats Ridge. The international contingent also includes UK broken beats specialists Freestylers and Freq Nasty, with homegrown reps like PVT, Decoder Ring, Space Invadas and Horrorshow.
The Peats Ridge Festival experience is about much more than the music. As the festival’s ringleader told our sister site FasterLouder in 2009, “What makes a festival is when the sun goes down and the place really comes alive. You’re creating an alternate reality for people at a festival – an opportunity to step out of their everyday lives.”
Peats Ridge Festival runs from 29 December to 1 January in Glenworth Valley.
