Pyramid Rock Festival returns this New Year’s Eve with the biggest line-up in the event’s seven year history.

After the apocalyptic electrical storm of last year there was speculation that the festival may not be back in 2010, however the promoters want to guarantee that not only is Pyramid Rock back to stay, they have also spent the last twelve months “reviewing, revising and reinventing” to ensure that this year’s festival goes off without a hitch.

Just to show how serious they really are, the Pyramid Rock squad is offering up a huge line-up headlined by none other than N.E.R.D who have just wrapped work on their anticipated fourth album Nothing.

Joining Pharell and co will be plenty of indie luminaries like Mystery Jets and Temper Trap as well as solid lineup of dance inclined artists like Chromeo, Neon Indian and the mighty Trentemoller, not to forget hip-hop legends Arrested Development.

If all that wasn’t enough to get your festival juices pumping, in an unprecedented move the festival is offering any punters who attended the festival in 2009 a discounted ticket to this year’s event, so just head to the festival’s website here for details.

Is the list in a bizarre order, or are Gyroscope truly the smallest band on that bill?
