The Rainbow Serpent Festival will once again go bush in Western Victoria this summer, and organisers are touting “a line-up that we honestly feel could be our best ever”. That promise has certainly got off to a strong start, with three acts to whet the appetite.

Wagon Repair’s steadfast leader Mathew Jonson is set to bring his warm, analogue techno to Rainbow Serpent. The man’s production hallmarks both as a solo artist and part of Cobblestone Jazz speak volumes, so expect a standout set. Also making the trip are Digital Structures gun Atmos and ‘Colorado’s most beloved bass music innovator’ VibeSquaD, with many more acts still to come.

Rainbow Serpent Festival returns to Beaufort, Victoria from Friday 21 to Monday 24 January 2011. Head to rainbowserpent.net for ticketing details.
