Robyn cancels on Stereosonic festival
Sun 24th Oct, 2010 Newsin
It was just the other day that we were talking up the third installment of Robyn’s 2010 Body Talk series, which has seen the Swedish siren release three albums in the one year. Evidently her gruelling schedule has taken its toll on the singer, as today we’ve got news that Robyn has cancelled her performances at this year’s Stereosonic festival.
In a statement released by Stereosonic’s promotion team, Robyn sent a message to her fans apologising for her late cancellation and promising a return to Australia in 2011.
“It is with deep regret that I have to cancel my appearance at the wonderful Steresonic festival in Australia this year [sic],” Robyn wrote. “Unfortunately I had to make the decision to pull out due to an unforseen commitment clash [sic]. I’m really sad to let my fans down, but I am determined to rectify my non appearance with rescheduled dates in 2011 that I am currently working on, more details soon.”
