DJ Mag Top 100 results leaked early yet again

HERE’S THE TOP 25 – IT LOOKS BETTER IN SEXY PICTURES!

Held annually after the climax (giggle) of the northern hemisphere’s summer season, the DJ Mag Top 100 poll seems to leak ahead of schedule every year just like clockwork. This year seems to be no exception, with the 2010 DJ poll results sneaking their way onto the internet exactly one day earlier than last year’s leak.

The leak of the top 100 results was first sprung on the quaint Russian site, EDM News, and has since been confirmed to be the genuine article and the international public’s pick for the best 100 DJs spinning records right now.

As ever, trance reigns supreme on the polls with last year’s #1 DJ Armin van Buuren holding onto his crown whilst Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten all pepper the top 10. That upper echelon remains largely unchanged from last year with the only real shake-ups being Deadmau5 sliding up into #4 and French house supremo and U2’s best mate David Guetta leap-frogs Tiesto to take the number two spot.

In other notable chart changes, the Swedish House Mafia gang of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso had a bumper year all shooting up several places and also placing for the first time as a collective at #23. Meanwhile, Stereosonic gun Afrojack rocketed into a debut #19 position.

On the home front both tyDi and Dirty South waved the green and gold, placing at #56 and #75 respectively. You can scope out the leaked winner’s list below and debate all the details in the comments box at the end of the page.

the funny thing is Guetta may make no. 2 on the 'most loved' djs, but he'd definitely make no. 1 on the most hated...or he would at least be battling it out with Beetroots

It's nice to see some hardstyle and 'new entries' that should have been on this list a while ago, but I would much rather see DJ's listed in a less subjective manner, possibly by annual income / number of concerts played at / number of people played to in total per year

armin van buuren, i would hardly call him a DJ - terrible at playing terrible music.what about erol alkan? seriously these lists are terrible, who votes for them? and has deadmau5 decided what type of DJ he wants to be this week?

Agree with Dirty Fuzz, its crazy how people like Daft Punk are getting into the top 100. As far as I know the only time they have played this year was 2 songs at the end of a Phoneix gig in Madison Square, NYC!

dash berlin no.15 !! WTF!!!!!!
last year despite the fact that they made lots of producing (man on the run , waiting ,artist album) and djing they were ranked no.111 , but this year they haven't done any and they are ranked no.15
mark my my words. those guys have been cheating madly all during the voting .there is no other way they could even land in the bottom of this list
i don't know why i am so mad about this stupid list every year!!!!
