DOOM's first-ever Australian tour

Buckle up, hip hop fans – masked genius DOOM is coming down under in March 2011. The news comes from the Lex Records website, which drops the casual revelation that, “Following packed shows in Europe and beyond, DOOM is travelling to the other side of the planet in Spring 2011 for his debut tour of Australia and New Zealand.”
DOOM certainly has a wealth of music to draw from in a live show. From his solo albums to the much-vaunted collaborations with Danger Mouse as Danger Doom and Madlib as Madvillain, the man is undoubtedly one of the most prodigious talents in hip hop. This tour will be wish fulfilment for many of the heads out there, so we’ll give you a moment to compose yourself…

Wed 23 March – The Forum, Sydney
Thu 24 March – The Espy, Melbourne
Fri 25 March – Metro City, Perth
Sat 26 March – The Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, Adelaide
