Hot Barbeque's sizzling 2011 line-up
Wed 1st Dec, 2010 Newsin
In early 2010, Future Entertainment’s Hot Barbeque eased into its new home of Point Nepean, Portsea. The natural splendour of the area was a perfect setting for the festival’s summer-ready sounds, and in 2011 the good times will roll again.

Following on from this year’s atmosphere, the line-up is a cocktail of hip hop, indie, house, disco and rock. Top billing goes to none other than Brooklyn rhyme-smith Mos Def, whose most recent album The Ecstatic found him in brilliant form. For something completely different there’s house don Roger Sanchez, a DJ who knows a thing or two about moving festival crowds down under.
Also gracing the Barbeque is esteemed turntablist Cash Money, Kiwi electro kids Kids Of 88, Melbourne men about town John Course and Grant Smillie and plenty more. Oh, and everyone loves a curveball, so how about Molly Meldrum as the master of ceremonies?
