Chinese Laundry's January roll-call
Fri 3rd Dec, 2010 in News 1546 views
Coming off a blockbuster year, Chinese Laundry is keeping the momentum up in 2011. The fireworks begin with Nick Warren and Yuksek on New Years Eve, followed closely by a Garden Party for bass fiends on Sunday 2 January.
From there, it’s business as usual, with big names week in, week out. Breaks heavyweights Freq Nasty and Plump DJs will pack ‘em in on back-to-back nights, while the next weekend Freestylers bring their decks-n-FX show to the club again. Friday night’s new focus is on dubstep, drum & bass, breakbeat and other bass-heavy sounds, with Sydney party collective Dubrave in residency.
Because one Garden Party a month isn’t enough, Saturday 22 sees the Stanton Warriors take to the courtyard as part of their extensive national tour. Leading the kick-on is Bedrock Records star John Graham, aka Quivver. Naturally there’s plenty more too, so take it all in below…
