ASOT500 comes home for the biggest party yet

After months of impatient waiting, the A State Of Trance 500 juggernaut at last touches down in Sydney this Saturday 16 April. We’re the final stop on the five-date tour, so there’s good reason to expect something spectacular.
The celebrations kicked off in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 19 March, before rolling on to the mighty Ultra Music Festival in Miami, then over to Buenos Aires for the devoted Argentine fans. By far the biggest ASOT500 show, though, was reserved for the host’s homeland.
On Saturday 9 April, the cavernous Brabanthallen in Dutch city Den Bosch hosted an immense trance line-up. With five colour-themed rooms in full effect, there was something for every niche. A State of Blue was back-to-back big-hitters like Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery and the ASOT flag-bearer himself, Armin van Buuren.
A State of Green was just as heavyweight, pairing scene vets Paul Oakenfold and Cosmic Gate with the likes of Sean Tyas, Andy Moor and Aly&Fila. Check out the set times on the A State Of Trance website for all that was on show.
Regular as clockwork, the ASOT team has put together a video report from the night which you can soak up below. Now the countdown really begins…
