Committed to the EXIT Festival pilgrimage in 2011? Well, your smarts just keep on being rewarded. The gargantuan four-day festival sprawls across the historic Petrovardian Fortress in the Serbian city of Novi Sad, with a host of stages and one hell of a Dance Arena. Perhaps to ensure all the excitement doesn’t come at once, EXIT keeps on adding new acts to the bill.

The latest of these additions includes rabble-rousing festival pro M.I.A., who joins a mainstage line-up that includes Jamiroquai, Portishead and Magnetic Man.

New to the Dance Arena are the Groove Armada lads in their ‘Redlight’ decks-and-effects mode. Closing proceedings on Saturday night (Sunday morning, to be more precise), is tech-house tag-team Better Lost Than Stupid, made up of Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann.

Then there’s Mobilee’s star signing and toast of 2011 Maya Jane Coles and UNION. This lot join Dance Arena headliners Underworld, an ‘unhooked’ Deadmau5, returning hero James Zabiela and many more.

Now for the most exciting part of this whole announcement: stay tuned for news of another massive inthemix competition to win a trip to Serbia for the ultimate EXIT Festival 2011 adventure!

the lineups used to be A LOT better, less commercial more underground focus. still, better than most other festivals and definitely better than any Aussie festival.
