Among the masses of overseas festivals that have been grabbing our attention since the end of the Australian summer has been the UK’s South West Four Weekender, the London-based bash which routinely packs in some super-sized names in dance music for a weekend of hands in the air partying.

While the lead up to the August 27-28 festival has been a staggered one with organisers dripping out lineup information including the festival’s headline contingent of Pendulum, Magnetic Man and Underworld, today has seen a relative deluge of new acts added to the festival, with Richie Hawtin, Andy C, Ferry Corsten, Joker, Simian Mobile Disco and Sasha all leading the charge.

As was hinted at when SW4 announced its branded arena hosts for the two day affair, Sven Vath, Above & Beyond, Adam Beyer and Laurent Garnier are all on the bill and showing off on their respective stages. And there’s even more good news for Brit-side dance fans with Eric Prydz performing a ‘world exclusive’ set under his Cirez D moniker. He’s been a very busy dude lately, hasn’t he?
