Moby eyes Australian tour return

With love still pouring out for Moby’s live tour over the 2009/2010 Australian summer, inthemix now has some good news for fans itching for another taste of the electronic veteran in the flesh.

Speaking to inthemix to discuss his 10th and latest studio LP, Destroyed, the formerly New York and now Los Angeles based auteur revealed that an Australian tour is definitely on the cards.

“The short answer is yes,” Moby said matter-of-factly when ITM asked if we’d see him back here again. “You know, I’ve always loved Australia and any chance I get to come back there and play live is great. I would definitely like to show you guys some of the new music from the album so I hope that we can do it soon.”

When probed (tee hee!) on just how soon we might see Moby return to country the electronic eccentric couldn’t be certain on the timing of a tour but was optimistic about fitting into the tour cycle of Destroyed. So…yay!
