Paradise Club Mykonos reveals bumper summer schedule

Image for Paradise Club Mykonos reveals bumper summer schedule

If you can’t bear the onset of winter, Paradise Club Mykonos has the solution (all you need is a couple of grand to get there). The Greek super-club has strong ties to Australia, and its 2011 line-ups include parties presented by our very own festival goliath Stereosonic, club empire Onelove and Melbourne house institution Alumbra to name but a few.

With prime position on a pristine beach-front, the open-air club certainly looks the part. The dancing happens around a central swimming pool in the balmy night air, and when the sun comes up the party continues. It’s little wonder dance fiends flock from all over Europe and beyond.

In 2011, Paradise Club has handpicked the current crop of big-room specialists like Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Chuckie and Aviici to lead the way.

Stereosonic’s night is headlined by none other than Sebastian Ingrosso, while elsewhere across the season there’s massive blowouts with the likes of David Guetta and Armin van Buuren. It doesn’t get much more summery than this.

This club failed me hard. Money down the drain.
Closed due to wet weather after being inside for under an hour.
There was 0 provision for wet weather because it just doesn't rain during the summer

I have been visiting both clubs for years now,i can compare Cavo to Amnesia or Circo Loco and Paradise Club to a cheap club in San Antonio ...

I suppose is down to music taste but i like my music to be underground and not commercially compromised so it's cavo every time for me...

I mean,i think is a good thing that Guetta is doing Paradise this summer, always thought that shit music doesn't match the Cavo line up,Sven Ricardo Richie Carola Dice, that's where the serious music is for me......

I heard that Paradise paid a 6 figure sum for Guetta and as the club is half the size of Cavo, expect long queues and a high entrance fee...

Having said that,i will definitely go to both clubs this summer, can't wait!!!!

@Black Ninja very jealous that you get multiple trips to the Greek Islands.
The 40euro cover charge sucked arse on a backpackers budget as did the 12euro vodka red bulls but my god what a night! Nothing like watching the sun rise over the Mediterranean while dancing away

cavo definitely more underground with some great techno and prog acts, whereas paradise usually attracts the more mainstream house acts; must say though, both clubs had a good vibe, and both club experiences can be easily ruined by the sleazy italians. worst behaved group of people i've ever seen out on the town and in a clubbing environment...

either way - i'll be back there to both this year!

kudos to my boy Steve Bleas playing at the Alumbra party on July 10 :D
