Deadmau5’s LED festival takes over London

Unless you’ve been residing under a really massive rock recently you would’ve noticed that Canadian producer Deadmau5 has been getting, well, pretty fucking big. How big are we talking? Well apart from headlining this year’s Creamfields festival tour, cameo-ing on The Simpsons and remixing rock gods Foo Fighters the profile of rodent-crowned Joel Zimmerman has ballooned to the point where he can fill London’s Victoria Park with his very own festival.
As announced by ITM the other month, the outdoor LED festival bearing Deadmau5’s branding moved in on Tiesto’s Tiesto In The Park territory for a day of beats and lasers in London’s Victoria Park, with the festival proper going down just this past weekend.
Assembled for the day’s play were a host of Deadmau5 foils and friends such as Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Mark Ronson, Nero and Netsky playing to some 25,000 fans before the main event, Deadmau5 himself, finished off proceedings with his Rubix Cube live setup. Epic.
You can check out some of the action from outdoor festival in the gallery below and relive Deadmau5’s Australian visit over at the Creamfields festival page.
