Stellar second line-up for Strawberry Fields

One of the Melbourne forum’s most buzzed-about festivals, Strawberry Fields, has just announced a stellar second line-up. Back in July, the festival whet appetites with the likes of Minilogue and Donato Dozzy, and there’s plenty more where that came from.

Round two of the line-up is headed by none other than enigmatic Detroit don Moodymann, who’s sure to be something special deep in the Victorian bush. Also on board is dub original Mad Professor, Protoculture getting retrospective, Berlin after-hours specialists Channel X, and much, much more. Check out the photo gallery below for all the delirious madness that awaits at Strawberry Fields 2011.

Is moodymann really attending? He's apparently also scheduled to play a show in L.A on the 25th of November - making it almost impossible to play in Aus on the 25th, 26th or 27th. I've seen hes name announced on posters but not on the Strawberry Fields Website. Anyone have anymore info?

Never mind, found the answer... "We at Strawberry Music regret to announce that Moodymann, a.k.a. Kenny Dixon Jr, has postponed his planned tour of Australia due to unforseeable personal circumstances. Fortunately the tour has been rescheduled for early 2012."
