Digitalism remix competition winners

This weekend sees the Digitalism live show arrive on Australian soil for Parklife, with the German trailblazers set to showcase songs from new album I Love You, Dude. One of the standout moments on that LP is 2 Hearts, and earlier this year we put a call out to budding producers to put their spin on the single. With a covetable swag of prizes up for grabs, the entries came in thick and fast, all with a different take on the driving vocal number.
The top prize went to Jack Ronaldson, who produces as Jac Lyde. “The competition was a fantastic opportunity to remix such a respected and talented artist,” he told inthemix. “Building on the vocals I wanted to create a progressive track that would contrast the fast-paced original. It’s wonderful that it’s been received so well!”
Jack has scored himself a pair of Dynamic Acoustics BM5A MK II monitor speakers from DJ Warehouse (valued at $1795) as well as tickets to Parklife to see Digitalism live and a copy of I Love You, Dude from Co-Operative Music.
You can have a listen to Jac Lyde’s winning remix and the four runners-up below. The only place to see Digitalism is on the Parklife tour this Spring – check out our Live Preview feature to see what’s coming.
1st place – Jac Lyde
2nd place – Low Phonix
3rd place – Fables
4th place – Ren Riz
5th place – Worimi
