Laneway Festival 2012 line-up

The 2012 St Jerome’s Laneway Festival line-up has finally arrived and it comes loaded with plenty of distinguished acts. In the tradition of Laneway’s past, the festival has created a bill made up of bands we have never seen, bands we are dying to see again and one or two bands you may not have heard of. On the danceable front, the festival will herald the SBTRKT live show, expansive Frenchman M83 and his band, plus plenty of dreamy, shoegaze-y fare.
As the Laneway spiel goes: “The 2012 Australian event returns to the five venues that have established Laneway as one of the most unique events in the country. The banks of Melbourne’s Maribyrong river, the historic sandstone buildings of Sydney’s College of the Arts, the tree-lined laneways just minutes from the Brisbane CBD, the lush grounds of the Perth Cultural Centre, and a new, expanded site at University of SA will provide the backdrop for 2012’s most exciting indie line-up.”
