New Order & SHM on the bill at Ultra Music Festival, Brazil

Many were surprised, and Peter Hook was pissed, when New Order announced last month that they were re-uniting for two benefit gigs. Well, part-time DJ/full-time laughing stock/former bass player Peter Hook is probably going to be even more irate now that the band appears to have extended their tour, having just been announced as part of the line-up for the Brazil chapter of Ultra Music Festival.
New Order (sans Hook) will be joining Swedish House Mafia, Duck Sauce, Death From Above 1979, MSTRKRFT, Nero, Major Lazer and a whole heap more in São Paulo on December 3. As those lucky Brazilians might say: Ai, Caramba!
Ultra Music Festival, already a Miami fixture and regarded as the biggest dance festival in the world, is now in its second year in Brazil. Maybe, one day, Ultra will come to Australia. Maybe. Probably not.
