Pendulum may have announced that they’ll be taking a break after their summer festival tour; but group founders Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen have still found the time to squeeze in a show for their side project, Knife Party, before the hiatus.

Earlier this year, Swire and McGrillen announced they were forming Knife Party to showcase sounds they didn’t feel fit in the “Pendulum mould”. Taking cues from genres like electro-house, dubstep and moombahton, the duo christened the new Knife Party sound “seizure music”. Sounds danceable!

Now, Knife Party have announced they’ll be playing a Perth show on Boxing Day – and having only debuted their live show for the first time a few months back in Ibiza, this will be one of the first appearances the duo have put on. But don’t fret if you’re on the East Coast – the rest of the country can (hopefully) stay tuned for further tour announcements. Tickets for the Perth show are available now through Moshtix.
