Listen: New music from Diplo, The xx and Fever Ray

In preparation for the rapidly approaching New Year, the internet has been flooded with samplers from some of the most exciting (and now very-imminent) 2012 releases. A trio of previously unpreviewed tracks from Diplo, The xx and Karen Dreijer Andersson of The Knife and Fever Ray have all hit the web over the last few days.

Diplo has released a sampler from his upcoming EP Express Yourself on Soundcloud, noting that he’s going to release the EP for free “inna few days”. You can listen to the sampler below.

The xx, who announced a little while back they wanted their forthcoming second album to be more “club”, have released a demo called Open Eyes. It doesn’t sound very “club” to us, but hey, we’ll still take it.

We announced last week that Blonde Redhead frontwoman Kazu Makino was curating a benefit compilation for the Japan disaster, titled We Are The Works in Progress. Now, we’ve got a preview of Karen Dreijer Andersson’s track for forthcoming release, titled No Face. You can listen to the murky track over at disconaivete.
