Big Day Out sideshows for Miss Kittin
Mon 2nd Jan, 2012 in News 836 views
The last time we saw electro trailblazer Miss Kittin in Australia, she was sharing the stage with The Hacker at Stereosonic 2009. This month heralds her return for the Big Day Out tour for DJ sets, and dedicated fans in Sydney and Melbourne will also have a chance to get up close and personal with Miss Kittin.
The pair of sideshows on the Australia Day weekend are presented by Hardware and Totem Onelove, with the promise of extended sets from the headliner. In Sydney, Miss Kittin will be joined at Oxford Art Factory by local house/techno authorities Claire Morgan and Murat Kilic, while in Melbourne she’s stepping up for Superdisco at Pretty Please. Expect to hear some early cuts from her 2012-slated album, alongside acid, techno, raw electro and flashes of pop from her DJ bag.
