Future Music Festival reveals The Likes Of You tent line-up

Looking at the who’s who of The Likes Of You ‘techno tent’ from Future Music Festival 2011, you’d think it’d be hard to top. That tour featured two iconic and very different live shows in Leftfield and Plastikman, alongside a DJ contingent headed by the festival’s favourite party animal Sven Vath.

So, how’s 2012 going to raise the bar? Future Entertainment has exclusively revealed to inthemix who’s on board for The Likes Of You this March, and it’s quite a crew. At the top of the list is one of electronic music’s defining figures, Aphex Twin, backed by an mind-twisting live show. FMF mascot Vath is of course back at the helm with his big bags of vinyl, and he’s bringing a few of his compadres: The Likes Of You alumni Dubfire, celebrated producer Oliver Huntemann and one of 2011’s biggest success stories Jamie Jones.

Rounding out The Likes Of You line-up are two acts that own the stage. First up, there’s the wildcard presence of Die Antwoord, who’ll shake up the techno atmosphere with a healthy dose of weirdness. Then there’s the scorching Azari & III show, with the four-piece of Alixander, Dinamo Azari, Starving Yet Full and Fritz Hedler bringing the disco heat. Sounds like a party.
