Playground Weekender 2012 second line-up announced

The sixth edition of Playground Weekender is now just weeks away, and the line-up has had an injection of new talent. Despite the unfortunate cancellation of Fat Freddys Drop and Modeselektor, the guest-list is looking geared towards an almighty party at Del Rio Resort. Apparently the festival is “still waiting on a couple of juicy acts to sign on the dotted line,” so stay tuned for that.

At the top of the second round is Kiwi crew Shapeshifter, whose storied live show is sure to work a treat under the stars. Joining the Big Top cast is Pokerflat boss Steve Bug, with Playground favourite LTJ Bukem set for another round. The local contingent has grown substantially as well – check it out below.
