Yelawolf may only have released his debut album Radioactive at the tail-end of last year, but the US rap talent hasn’t wasted any time working up that all-important hype.

Eliciting no shortage of comparisons to Eminem (unsurprisingly, given he’s signed to Mathers’ label Shady Records), Yelawolf puts a Deep-South spin on a grungy, garage hip-hop. Now, Yelawolf is bringing his Alabama rap to Australia; hitting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for a March tour.

The rapper looks set to bring one hell of a live show along with him. Having spent over a decade working his way up in the game, Yelawolf’s hard work has culminated in big tracks like Let’s Rock and Pop the Trunk, the latter of which has racked up over a mighty 9 million views on YouTube.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketek.

Tuesday March 27 – Capitol, Perth
Wednesday March 28 – Fowlers Live, Adelaide
Thursday March 29 – The HiFi, Brisbane
Friday March 30 – Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
