"In hardstyle we trust": Q-dance launches in America
Wed 11th Apr, 2012 Newsin
With its grand return to Australia for Defqon.1 2012 locked in, Dutch powerhouse Q-dance is setting its sights on a new territory: the United States of America. With stadium-sized house/trance crossovers and ‘brostep’ the biggest hitting sounds Stateside at the moment, Q-dance is out to spread its hard dance mission. In June 2012, the powerhouse brand will make its first steps onto American soil for Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.
It has taken a few years of behind-the-scenes wrangling to make it happen, but they’ve pulled off a Q-dance stage at the festival, which announced its full line-up over the weekend. Some early names for the stage have been announced, including Brennan Heart, D-Block & S-te-Fan and Coone. Over 100,000 mad-for-it punters are expected to fill EDC across its three days, so no doubt Q-dance will earn itself a fleet of new fans. Stay tuned to inthemix for all their Defqon.1 Australia plans as well, coming very soon.
