Listen: Massive Attack's 3D gets dark with Scarlett Johansson

Around this time last year, we reported that electronic icons Massive Attack were going into the studio with Hollywood actress and occasional chanteuse Scarlett Johansson. Now it turns out that most of that equation was correct, with the result of that session emerging online as a collaboration between Johansson and Massive Attack lynchpin 3D.

The song is a cover of George Gershwin’s Summertime, set to appear on the soundtrack for upcoming Spanish thriller Days Of Grace. 3D applies his signature menace to Johansson’s throaty vocals, and the final product wouldn’t sound out of place on a Massive Attack record.
