Your Shot DJ competition returns for 2012

Having launched back in 2010, the Your Shot DJ competition returns this year to seek out ‘Australia’s next big DJ’. The search will span Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and inthemix is back on board as a partner. Guys, girls, friends, duos and bedroom bangers alike are once again invited to be a part of Your Shot – and no DJ experience is necessary. You only need to be over 18 and ready to get involved.

From the registrations, Your Shot will choose 72 new contestants from each state, who will receive a six-week full DJ training course from DJ Warehouse and Spinhouse Academy. The training will culminate in a two-day event in each state where winners will be decided.

So what’s the winning haul? In 2012, the major prize package includes a set at Stereosonic plus VIP tickets foir friends, a DJ set at Paradise Club in Mykonos with flights and accommodation provided, a DJ set at a major Red Bull event, a swag of gear from Pioneer, Skullcandy and more, plus a feature right here on inthemix.
