Live on Fridays inthemix today: Lancelot

Looking for a fine way to close out your four-day week? This afternoon, we’re hosting local production talent Lancelot on Fridays inthemix. The Sydney-based DJ and studio whiz will be showcasing his love of analogue sounds for your streaming pleasure from 4pm till 6pm.

2012 is shaping up to be a stellar year for Lancelot. His We Can Dance EP offered up three surefire club jams, along with remixes by Goldroom, Fabian, Frames and Moonchild. You can listen to the smooth-sailing of Spoken Word below. Having previously turned out electro as AEONS, Lancelot finessed his songcraft at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and it shows. For the trivia nuts playing at home, he also produced the painfully-accurate Bondi Hipsters single The Life Organic. Expect warm, summery house vibes when he stops in this afternoon.
