Flo Rida gets served for Fat as Butter crimes...via Facebook

While there’s no denying that Flo Rida leaves much to be desired musically, over the past few months the auto-tuned rapper has proven adept at something endlessly valuable: making us LOL. First, he chucked a hissy fit and bailed on his scheduled appearance at Newcastle festival Fat as Butter. Next, he was found in possession of an “Uzi taser”, 1g of cannabis, 10ml of liquid cannabis and one gold capsule of tetrahydra cannabis among other leafy substances. Then last month, he was ordered to pay Fat as Butter a massive $80,000 in damages and performance fee repayment. But just when it seemed this whole ridiculous saga couldn’t get any more amusing, the ABC has reported that Fat as Butter has been given permission to serve the rapper in true 21st century style: via his Facebook.
According to the Fat as Butter promoters, they were left no choice but to head online to serve Flo Rida because they couldn’t get to him in person. “We tried to serve him physically on several occasions when he was out here but he got wise to it pretty quickly” explained promoter Brent Lean. “We couldn’t get near him in the end because he was constantly surrounded by an entourage and security, so we looked into ways of serving him via his Facebook page because he’s very active on social media.”
“We’ve now painted him into a corner,” Lean continued. “We’re now confident the matter is coming to a close.” The rapper, real name Tramar Dillard, now has 28 days to respond with a legal defence. As one ITMer wittily pointed out earlier in the saga, it looks like Flo Rida’s bank balance is about to get low, low, low.
