LA's Hard Summer announces 2012 lineup

Image for LA's Hard Summer announces 2012 lineup

Adding to the torturous, ever-growing list of enviable 2012 US festival lineups is Hard Summer, which recently announced the bill for its third year. The Los Angeles festival has the divisive Skrillex leading the charge, backed up by the likes of Boys Noize, Nero, Squarepusher and Magnetic Man.

Also set to attend is Australian talent Nick Thayer, who’ll be joining rank with esteemed internationals James Murpy, Datsik, and Stereosonic player Gesaffelstein. If the lineup is looking bigger than last year, that’s because Hard Summer has expanded to a two-day event for the first time in 2012. The festival kicks off on August 3, and tickets start from a very-reasonable USD$119 (AUD$117). Oh, to be American.
