Deepchild coming home for winter tour
Wed 9th May, 2012 in News 544 views
This winter, while his adopted home of Berlin heats up, Deepchild will swing back to Australia for a three-date club tour. Since relocating, the distinguished producer has cemented himself as a key player on the Trapez roster, regularly playing around Berlin at clubs like Weekend, Berghain and Tresor, while also roaming further afield.
In June, we’ll see Deepchild’s live set in all its raw, dub-laced, analogue goodness – and he’s certainly got stellar productions to burn. For a sense of where Deepchild is coming from, get stuck into his recent Freakin Podcast, which travels through Motor City weapons from the likes of Drexciya, Robert Hood, Moodymann and Kenny Larkin. After he’s flown down south, it’s straight back to Berlin for the FUSION Festival and more European dates. Catch him while you can – the chance doesn’t come around all that often!
Deepchild tour dates:
Friday 8 June – Loosekaboose @ Goodgod Small Club, Sydney
Sunday 10 June – Revolver Upstairs, Melbourne
Saturday 16 June – Metric Events @ barsoma, Brisbane
