Stereosonic sets a date for 2012 line-up

We might be entering the chilly stretch of the year, but already Stereosonic is gearing up to welcome summer. The ever-growing dance juggernaut is set to hit Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane over two wall-to-wall weekends, and the line-up rumour mill is buzzing early.

What do we know so far? Thanks to some early slips, Tiesto, HARD Events ringleader Destructo and Gesaffelstein will be there, and that’s set to be just the tip of the sizeable iceberg. Now Stereosonic has set a date to launch its line-up: Thursday 5 July. Tickets will then go on sale Thursday 2 August, just in case you’re one to get finances in order well in advance.

The 2011 Stereosonic tour was by far the biggest yet, with trance don Armin van Buuren in the headline slot, joined by fast-rising star Avicii, scene veterans like Carl Cox and BT, plus many, many more. Expect the same quota of star power in 2012. The waiting game begins.
