Surkin announces 2012 club tour

French electro gun Surkin has announced that he’ll be hitting Australia next month for a five-stop club tour. Keen Surkin fans would agree that it’s about time the producer returned to Australia: since his last visit for Creamfields in 2010, he’s released his debut full-length album USA and kick-started new for-the-love label Marble.
So as well as the club-suited sounds of USA, Surkin will be bringing with him the “very French, very chic and very bad-ass” set style our reviewer described of his last club tour. Surkin’s also sure to pack a hefty catalogue of club weapons, the top ten of which he talked us through at the end of last year. Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will all be treated to a visit (no dice, Perth) when the tour kicks off on June 21.
Surkin 2012 tour dates:
21 June – Electric Circus, Adelaide
22 June – Trinity Bar, Canberra
23 June – Chinese Laundry, Sydney
29 June – Oh Hello, Brisbane
30 June – Bottom End, Melbourne
