The 2012 Defqon.1 line-up is here!

Ever since the last firework went off above Defqon.1 2011, hard dance fanatics have been counting down the days to its return. On Saturday 15 September 2012, Q-dance will bring the festival back to Sydney under the banner of True Rebel Freedom. As past experiences have proven, there’ll be colossal production, sound and staging – and fourth time round, you can expect it to be more spectacular than ever.

All which brings us to the next piece in the Defqon.1 puzzle: the 2012 line-up. The Red Mainstage will again come alive with next-level theming and the likes of Headhunterz, Frontliner, Zany and Wildstylez while a host of coloured stages cover a range of different sounds. Scroll through each stage below, and head to the new Defqon.1 website to find out more. Tickets go on sale 1 June via Q-dance.com.au.

If you’re planning to really make a weekend of it, Q-dance is once again offering the ‘Extended Camping Experience’. The Silent Disco has been scrapped from the camping pre-party and replaced with an Open-Air Stage complete with powerful sound-system. Some of the line-up’s big stars will be headlining the pre-party, so head to the Defqon.1 website to find out the details.

Head to the newly-launched Defqon.1 website for more.

67% of the DJs have mis-spelt their names. Poor fellows.
I have never seen so many letter Z's in a lineup.
But I'd love to get up to Sydney for this one, the videos from 2011 look incredible :)

Cool to see the green stage and recognize some name on it, but that style of music seems so far removed from the other stages I can't see ppl buying a ticket who are into the green stage.

Last year the green stage was packed with genuine doofers

Cool, I hope it is again. If I was to go to a festival, would probably go to this over most of the others.

I would seriously consider going to this lad fest just for the green stage.

By packed you mean there was no more than 20 people there all day.

Because they like the music?

Line up is shithouse. First Defqon 1 that I wont be attending.

Orange stage has been under-rated every year. Line up this year is fantastic. I know this will draw groans - WHERE IS PROTEUS? His set at Defqon1 2009 was amazing and i havent heard better at a Defqon1 since.

3 stages of Nu Style.... Same as last year.... Yippy!!! Why not let the rest of Australia have a crack at the tallent stage like myself & play some different sounds rather then just Nu Style after Nu Style set. Nu Style is fine but a whole day of it and no where to escape except Dup Step or PSY Trance stages LOL, The 1000 degree tent with hardcore & the Hard Trance stage, Best Stage last two years.
I would love to here some Early Hardstyle, 2008 & earlier, is that to much to ask?
