Amon Tobin's ISAM to stream live from the Opera House

A la last month’s Coachella, Vivid Sydney has announced that it will be live streaming a select number of shows from the festival’s busy schedule as it kicks off this weekend.
Luckily for ITMers, Amon Tobin is among the artists set to be streamed through a dedicated Vivid YouTube channel. Tobin’s lauded ISAM 3D show has been at the top of ITM’s must-see shows list ever since the Brazilian innovator announced his plans for it mid-last year, so we’d strongly recommend tuning in if you missed out on tickets.
The ticket-less can also tune in for Imogen Heap’s intimate recital as it’s streamed live on Tuesday night, watch locals the Temper Trap showcase their new album in the Concert Hall on Thursday, and see the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House transformed by German design collective Urbanscreen tomorrow night.
What’s more, those watching live from their couch will be able to pan, zoom and take photos during the stream using camera application Frontrow. “We’re excited to partner with Sydney Opera House to debut Frontrow on YouTube and bring a new dimension of Vivid live to the world,” explained Google rep Lucinda Barlow. “Audiences can control the camera angle of their own live experience and for the first time take photos remotely of the action and share them with their friends.” All up, this sounds pretty cool.
