This Spring sees the self-proclaimed ‘festival for music heads and dancing feet’ return for five shows around the country. Kicking off in Brisbane’s picturesque Botanic Gardens and winding up in Adelaide, this year’s Parklife tour also features a new venue for Sydney. The party will be moving from its Kippax Lake home to “a lush, tree-lined location deep inside Centennial Park”. Says Fuzzy Director John Wall: “It’s a layout that hasn’t been used for a festival before, and we think everyone will really love it.”
As for when we’ll have the line-up in our sights, no word has been given yet, but we’d put a punt on mid-June. Recently inthemix put our sleuthing caps on to place some bets on who we’ll see this September/October. Parklife HQ said we only got “a few bullseyes”, so let us know who you’re banking on. As you’ll recall, the 2011 tour featured a host of of-the-moment bass acts including Magnetic Man, Flux Pavilion, Joker and Nero, alongside Parklife favourites like MSTRKRFT, Diplo, Mylo and Digitalism, so expect a top-shelf line-up…
