Mark Farina kicked off decks by "table service crowd"

UPDATE: Marquee have responded to the Farina’s claims, defending “It was the end of the afternoon and management made a decision to reschedule him for another day”.
Two weekends ago, house hero Mark Farina joined the fleet of DJs and live acts in Detroit for the Movement Electronic Music Festival, where he played a mood-setting Mushroom Jazz set on the mainstage alongside Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, Derrick Carter and Lil Louis. The weekend just gone didn’t go so smoothly. Rolling up to the Marquee Day Club in Las Vegas on Saturday 2 June to bring some sunshine-friendly house to the pool area, Farina didn’t make it very far.
“Supposed to be going on now…but got the boot, apparently too much house for this Vegas crowd,” he wrote on Twitter. “My deepest apologies to all the true house heads that showed up. Was out of my control, unfortunately.” True to form, the House Gangster himself DJ Sneak had a speedy reply: “You gotta fight back man. You earned you spot. Tell them mf who mark farina is.” In response, Farina wrote: “My liaison said manager was getting complaints from their table service crowd.” The party also featured Miguel Migs, but it looks like he survived the table service gauntlet…
