Parklife sets a date for 2012 lineup, reveals another act

HERE’S THE 2012 PARKLIFE LINE-UP! GO, GO, GO!

After confirming the dates for this year’s festival tour last month and experiencing a couple of unintended line-up leaks since then, Parklife has now revealed that the 2012 line-up is set for Tuesday June 19.

Fuzzy has posted a slightly-NSFW trailer for the 2012 event, which as well as flashing a bit of bum cheek confirms the date the big reveal. But as well as confirming when we’ll get the full line-up, the trailer suggests that US electro-pop outfit Passion Pit will be part of the bill. The group’s inescapable track Little Secrets provides the soundtrack to the trailer, so it seems a forgone conclusion that we’ll be seeing them here in September. If so, that’d make for Passion Pit’s first Australian visit since the 2010 Splendour in the Grass.

So far, we’ve got dubstep bros Modestep, drum & bass luminary DJ Fresh, UK MC Labrinth and Canadian house duo Art Department confirmed for Parklife’s return. We made some guesses of who to expect on the bill last month, and the festival confirmed we got a “couple of bullseyes” – any guesses as to who?

What's up with all these 1st-2nd time posters? Fake hype?

Ill probably end up there, I liked last years because I avoided the main stage at all costs.
Lets hope the lineup is good!
Also, I too liked the video :)

Seeing bum always helps people get keen. Although I'd like to see some more, older dubstep acts; Skream & Benga were incredible last year.

So keen to see the line-up. Having Nero and Flux Pavillion at last year was awesome. Hopefully this year's going to be just as good.
